I enrolled at Le Chantier in Laval for a comprehensive training program in carpentry, complemented by a course in construction management. Over the past few years, I have worked on large-scale projects in the Montreal area, focusing primarily on numerous homes in the Laurentians, ranging from relatively simple designs to highly intricate architectural challenges. I even built two houses from the ground up for my parents, and you can find photos of these projects on this site. Although my contractor’s license allows me to engage in new constructions, I prefer to specialize in renovations, which present a variety of challenges, both minor and major. Renovation work is diverse, often requiring creativity and resourcefulness, as well as a keen understanding of the costs associated with different options. Although my contractor’s license allows me to engage in new constructions, I prefer to specialize in renovations, which present a variety of challenges, both minor and major. Renovation work is diverse, often requiring creativity and resourcefulness, as well as a keen understanding of the costs associated with different options.
